T his appliance is des igned to operate in
a mbie nt te mpera tures (s urrounding a ir
temperature) between 16
If thes e temperatures are exceeded i.e.,
colder or wa rmer, the a pplia nce will not
ope ra te c orrec tly. S hould the a mbie nt
temperatures be exceeded for long periods,
the temperature in the freezer will rise
above -18 C and food s poilage may occur.
B efore Us e
R emove all s ecuring tapes .
Wash the inside of the appliance with lukewarm
water with a little bicarbonate of s oda added (5ml
to 0.5 litre of water). Do not use s oap or
detergent as the s mell may linger. Dry the
appliance thoroughly.
T hermos tat C ontrol
T he thermos tat control s ituated in the control
panel regulates the temperature of the freezer
compartment.

T he te mpe rature will be a ffe c te d by:
R oom temperature
How often the door is opened
How much food is s tored
P os ition of the appliance
To determine the correct temperaure control
setting, all these factors have to be considered
and some experimentation may be necessary
Do not allow children to tamper with the
controls or play with the product.

T o S tart the A pplianc e
1. Allow the a pplia nce to s ta nd for 2 hours
after installation.
2. P lug in the appliance and switch on at the
mains supply.
3. T urn the thermostat control to the required
setting. The MED setting is usually suitable
for normal operation (see thermostat control).
4. L eave the appliance for approximately 4
hours for the corre ct tempe ra ture to be
reached before placing food inside.
