LG Elect ronics U.S.A., I nc. ( " LG" ) warrant s your LG Room Air Condit ioner ( " product " ) against defect in m at er ials or workm anship
under nor m al household use, during t he warrant y period set fort h below , LG will, at it s opt ion, repair or replace t he product . This
lim it ed warrant y is valid only t o t he original ret ail pur chaser of t he product , is not assignable or t ransferrable t o any subsequent
purchaser or user, and applies only when t he product is purchased t hrough an LG aut hor ized dealer or dist ribut or and used wit hin
t he Unit ed St at es ( " U.S." ) including U.S. Territ ories.

1. Service t r ips t o deliver, pick up, or inst all t he product or
for inst ruct ion on product use.
2. Replacing house fuses or reset t ing of circuit breakers,
correct ion of house w iring or plum bing, or correct ion of
product inst allat ion.
3. Dam age or failure caused by leaky/ brok en/ frozen wat er
pipes, rest r ict ed dr ain lines, inadequat e or int err upt ed
wat er supply or inadequat e supply of air .
4. Dam age or failure caused by accident s, pest s and ver m in,
light ning, w ind, fire, floods or act s of God.
5. Dam age or failure result ing fr om m isuse, abuse, im proper
inst allat ion, repair or m aint enance. I m proper repair
includes use of part s not appr oved or specified by LG.
6. Dam age or failure caused by unaut hor ized m odificat ion or
alt erat ion t o t he product .
7. Dam age or failure caused by incorr ect elect r ical curr ent ,
volt age, or plum bing codes.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING AND WITHOUT LIMITATION TO, ANY
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE EXTENT ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY IS
REQUIRED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE TERM PERIOD EXPRESSED ABOVE. REPAIR OR
REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR THE CUSTOMER. NEITHER THE
MANUFACTURER NOR ITS U.S. DISTRIBUTOR SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR
PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE, INCLUDING AND WITHOUT LIMITATION TO, LOST REVENUES OR PROFITS, OR ANY OTHER
DAMAGE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LIMITATIONS
ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS
WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

9. Dam age or m issing it em s t o any display, open box,
discount ed, or refurbished product .
10. Product where t he or iginal fact ory ser ial num ber s have
been rem oved, defaced or changed in any way.
11. Repairs w hen product is used in ot her t han nor m al and
usual household use ( e.g. rent al, com m ercial use,
offices, or recreat ional facilit ies) or cont rary t o t he
inst ruct ions out lined in t he owner's m anual.
12. The rem oval and reinst allat ion of t he Product if it is
inst alled in an inaccessible locat ion.
