Using the Expression Pedals
The LX-32PRO is equipped with dual expression units for added dynamic control. The
Left expression pedal also contains a side switch (12) that could be used to trigger
various effects such as rotary speed, chorus on/off, etc. To use the expression pedals
(10,11), simply connect any 1/4" STEREO cable into the expression pedal output,
(13,14) into any expression or swell input on your synthesizer or keyboard. To use the
side switch (12), connect the switch output (15) to any switch input using a 1/4" MONO
cable. The left side switch is a normally closed switch.
Using the Compatibility Switch (internal)
The LX-32PRO volume pedals are each equipped with a compatibility switch in order
to make it work with synthesizers and keyboards from different manufacturers. The
compatibility switches are located under the expression units and each have 2 posi-
tions, "reverse", and "standard". Please see the following list of keyboard
manufacturer's to determine which position the switch should be in
Use STANDARD position: Yamaha, Kawai, and Korg
Use REVERSE position: Roland, Nord, CME, Kurzweil, Novation, and M-audio
