Use handles or knobs. • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse temperature control probe or cord in water or any other liquid. - Page 3 All manuals and user guides at all-guides.com SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS SHORT POWER SUPPLY CORD INSTRUCTIONS A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entan- gled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord may be used if care is exercised in its use. If an extension cord is used, the electrical rating of the cord must be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. The extension cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally. ELECTRIC POWER If electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, Griddle may not operate properly. Dry thoroughly. CAUTION: Do not immerse temperature control probe in water or other liquids. USING YOUR ELECTRIC GRIDDLE Insert warming tray into guides under the front of the griddle. Insert drip tray into guides under the side of the griddle. Turn temperature probe dial to the off position “O” and attach securely to griddle. Condition the non-stick cooking surface with vegetable shortening, wiping off any excess with a paper towel. Plug griddle in an electrical outlet. Preheat the griddle by aligning the selected temperature setting on the temperature control probe knob with the indicator light. Griddle is preheated when the light on the knob goes off. All manuals and user guides at all-guides.com CLEANING YOUR GRIDDLE Unplug and allow griddle to cool before cleaning. Remove temperature control probe. DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER. Wipe with damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Remove drip tray and discard contents. With the temperature control probe removed, the griddle can be immersed completely. The griddle, drip tray and warming tray are dishwasher safe. Or you may wash them with hot soapy water and a plastic scouring pad. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
