FJC R-134a Refrigerant with UV Dye
pinpoints
existing leaks in any R-134a
mobile A/C system for quicker repair. FJC R-134a refrigerant with UV Dye may also be added
to any R-134a A/C system to assist in the identification of future leaks, should they occur.
Compatible with all PAG and Ester Oils. For use in all OEM R-134a and retrofitted vehicles.
CONTAINS: R-134a REFRIGERANT (1,1,1,2-TETRAFLUOROETHANE) CAS 811-97-2, AND ULTRA-
VIOLET LEAK DETECTION DYE.
DESIGNED FOR R-134a SYSTEMS ONLY.
CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS: SHAKE CAN WELL. Start engine and set A/C system to MAX COOL.
(1) Remove the black cap from the dispensing tool. (2) Locate A/C low side service port, which
is usually located between the compressor and evaporator. Remove and save the service port
cap. (3) Connect the recharge hose coupler to low side service port by pulling back the outer
sleeve and pressing the coupler firmly onto the low side service port. Release the outer sleeve
to lock the coupler into place. (4) Depress the top yellow button and allow contents to flow
into the system. While charging, rotate can between 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock every 2 to 3 sec-
onds while continually agitating (shaking) the can back and forth. Continue this process until
the can is empty or until the correct amount of refrigerant has been discharged into the A/C
system. When the charge is complete, pull back on the coupler connected to release it from
the service port. Replace the service port cap.
Use only the required amount. DO NOT OVERCHARGE SYSTEM!
LEAK DETECTION INSTRUCTIONS: Allow A/C to run for 15 minutes after charging to allow the
UV dye to circulate through the system. Using a UV light, search for areas where the UV dye is
fluorescing yellow/green to find leaks. For best results, use UV tinted safety glasses. Wipe the
area clean.
WARNING: CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE. Read all information and SDS sheet thoroughly. Do
not mix with any other refrigerant. For use in mobile air conditioning systems only. Store in a
cool place. Do not store in temperature over 120°F (49°C). Can may burst if heated. Keep away
from sunlight or other heat. Do not puncture or incinerate can. Do not store in vehicle cabin or
trunk.
DANGER: NEVER CONNECT CAN TO HIGH PRESSURE SIDE. Can will explode and serious injury
may occur if connected to the incorrect port.
CAUTION: Wear protective gloves and eyewear when using. Avoid breathing high concentra-
tions of the vapor. Excessive inhalation of the contents can cause serious injury or death. Use in
well-ventilated area. This product can cause frostbite. Avoid contact with eyes or skin.
FIRST AID: Inhalation: Immediately move to fresh air and give oxygen if needed. If not breath-
ing, give CPR and immediately call physician or Poison Control. Skin contact: Flush with water
for 15 minutes and treat frostbite by gently warming the affected areas. Eye contact: Flush
with warm water for 15 minutes.
