Changing the Phone Lock Code
Do remember your phone lock code. If you forget it, contact your
local dealer.
Select Menu > Settings > Security Settings > Change Phone

Code.
Enter the correct phone lock code, and then press

Enter the new phone lock code, and then press
3.
Enter the new phone lock code again, and then press
4.
(OK).
PIN and PUK
Consult the network operator if a SIM card is required. The personal
identification number (PIN) protects your SIM card from
unauthorized use. The PIN unlocking key (PUK) can unblock the
blocked PIN. Both PIN and PUK are delivered with the SIM card.
For details, consult your service provider.
If you enter wrong PINs for a specified number of times
consecutively, you are required to enter the PUK code.
If you enter wrong PUKs for a specified number of times
consecutively, the SIM card is invalid permanently. Contact your
service provider for a new card.
Setting the PIN Lock
To set the PIN lock, do as follows:
Select Menu > Settings > Security Settings > PIN Code

Request.
Select On/Off to enable or disable the PIN lock.

The default pin code is "0000" .
