Extending Your WiFi Network Using Web UI

For better performance, plug the extender into an
outlet halfway between the router and the WiFi
dead zone.
The location you choose must be within the range
of your existing WiFi network.
Wait until the Signal LED turns blue. If not, relocate
the extender closer to the router.
Connect your WiFi devices to the extender using the
SSIDs set by yourself, or your router's SSID with a
suffix _EXT/SGEXT, and using the WiFi password
same as your WiFi router.

Extend YourWiFi Network
1.
Connect your WiFi device to the extender's
WiFi network BrosTrend_EXT.

Ensure that the Mobile Data (if any)
function of yourWiFi device is disabled.

Start a web browser, enter re.brostrend.com
or 192.168.0.254 in the address bar to login.
Create a login password for later attempts
(recommend).

You can use Method 2 if your router has a WPS button (possible
icons of a WPS button:

Extend Your WiFi Network
1.
Press the WPS button on the router and within 2 minutes press the WPS button
on the extender.
2.
Wait until the Signal LED on the extender turns solid blue. If the Signal LED does
not turn solid blue, try Method 1.
The extender has started.
The extender is starting.
The extender is not powered on.
A WPS connection has been established.
A WPS connection is being established.
The WPS function is disabled.
The extender has connected to your existing WiFi
router, and its position is proper.
The extender is too far away from the router.
Relocate the extender closer to the router .
The extender does not connect to yourWiFi router.
