Read all instructions before using this appliance. Do not touch hot surfaces. CAUTION: Surface becomes hot during use. Use kitchen mitts when handling hot materials and allow for all metal parts to cool down before cleaning.

This appliance is not intended to be used with external timers or remote control systems. If the appliace is overfilled, boiling water could be expelled from the pot. This appliance must only be used with the provided base.

    The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled on unintentionally by children or the user.

    USING THE APPLIANCE INSTRUCTIONS: This appliance is designed for household use only. Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal and level surface. Do not place appliance on non-heat-resistant surfaces. Make sure that the marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord is at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
  • Page 7 As soon as the appliance is done cooking, turn the temperature contol knob back to ZERO. Carefully unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down. Always turn the temperature control knob to ZERO after each use and before unplugging the appliance from the outlet. TO USE THE STEAMER Add water to the pot between the MIN and MAX levels.

    CLEANING Proper maintenance will ensure years of service of your product. Clean the product after every use following these steps. This product contains no user-serviceable parts and requires little maintenance. Warning: The surfaces of the appliance will get very hot during use. Unplug the product and allow it to cool down before cleaning.

    ANTES DEL PRIMER USO Retire los materiales de embalaje y las etiquetas. Retire los accesorios desmontables del artefacto. Llene de agua la olla hasta el nivel MAX. Prenda el artefacto y permita que el agua hierva. Deseche el agua caliente y enjuague con agua fría. Seleccione una ubicación adecuada para el artefacto.
