IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION When the blade is pinched or bound tightly by the kerf closing down, the blade stalls and the motor reaction drives the unit rapidly back toward the operator; If the blade becomes twisted or misaligned in the cut, the teeth at the back edge of the blade can dig into the top surface of the wood causing the blade to climb out of the kerf and jump back toward the operator.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION Blades must be rated to at least the maximum speed marked on the tool. Maintain labels and nameplates on the tool. These carry important safety information. Avoid unintentional starting. Prepare to begin work before turning on the tool. DO NOT lay the tool down until it has come to a complete stop.
OPERATION ATTACHING/REPLACING THE SAW BLADE: 1. To remove or replace the saw blade (16), you will first need to remove the anchor screw (3) and the outer flange (4). 2. To do this, you will need to hold the spindle lock (9) and use the hex key (13) to loosen the arbor screw (3) (clockwise thread) and outer flange (4).
OPERATION ANGLE ADJUSTMENT To adjust the angle of the cut, loosen the Angle Locking Lever (12), then slide to the degree of tilt you require and tighten to secure. IMPORTANT: Once have adjusted angle, ensure have securely re-tightened the Angle Locking Lever (12) before using the tool in order to avoid damage to the tool and injury to the user.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE POCKET CUTTING: Set the depth adjustment scale (17) to the desired cutting depth, re-tighten and plug the tool back in. With the saw blade barely above the material to be cut, power up the saw and allow the tool to reach full speed.
