Please can you let me know for sure if the Safer Walking GPS tracker can be monitored/ managed on a desktop, rather than on a smartphone? I just phoned and was told it could. Looking at the manual however, I cannot see this option.

    Using the GPS Locator and Safer Walking App View the locator’s current location The location of the locator will be shown on the map on the ‘Home’ screen, as a marker labelled with the device name. You can zoom in and out of the map using a two finger pinch, and move the map around by sliding one finger across the screen.

    Zones – Get alerts when the wearer enters or leaves an area The Safer Walking App allows you to set circular ‘Zones’ (sometimes known as geo-fences), so that an alert can be sent to all of the App users if the person enters or leaves that area. These zones could be, for example, Home (a small area close to home), Work (a small area describing the person’s workplace) or Village (a larger area that includes a regular walk).
