EST- 402 Car Seat NOTICE 1. This is a “Universal” child restraint, it is approved to Regulation NO.44,04series of amendments,for general use in vehicles and it will fit most,but not all car seats. 2. A correct fit is likely if the vehicle manufacturer has declared in the vehicle handbook that the vehicle is capable of accepting a “Universal”child restraint for this age group.

It is dangerous to make any alteration or additions to the device without the approval of the competent authority, and a danger of not following closely the installation instructions provided by the child restraint manufacturer.

EST- 402 Car Seat Securing your baby For the protection of your baby Always secure your baby in the baby seat using the seat belt. Never leave your baby unattended in the baby seat when placing it on elevated surfaces (e.g.a table, nappy changing unit,etc.) Never allow the strap end to become caught in moving parts(e.g.Automatic doors, escalators, etc).

EST- 402 Car Seat 1).Caution! The plastic parts of the baby seat heat up in the sun, so that your baby may get burnt. Protect your baby and the baby seat against intensive solar radiation(e.g.by putting a light cloth over the seat). 2).The baby seat requires only one seating position in the car.

EST- 402 Car Seat Removing the newborn insert cushion The newborn insert cushion is used to provide extra comf ort f or very small babies. Caution! Only use the lying support when the shoulder belt is in the lowest slot position .

EST- 402 Car Seat Removing the newborn insert cushion Once you have taken out Shoulder the belt you can then straps remove the newborn insert cushion. Then put the belt through the upper slot and slide straps in 3 bar.

EST- 402 Car Seat Adjusting the handle You can engage the handle in three positions: Simultaneously press both buttons on the handle. Then whilst holding the buttons pressed turn the handle backwards or forwards until it engages in the desired position.
EST- 402 Car Seat Adjusting the shoulder strap height A correctly adjusted shoulder strap height ensures your baby's optimal protection in the baby seat. The shoulder strap height must be adjusted so that the shoulder straps are at the same level as your baby’s shoulders or slightly below.

Put the tongue with the belt on the side ,the buckle is placed to the front so that the occupant place is free. EST- 402 Car Seat Tightening the harness Pull the strap end. Caution! Pull the harness adjuster strap straight towards you, not upwards or downwards. Please pay attention to the strap end while travelling (especially outside the car) it should always be placed in the carrier.

EST- 402 Car Seat Securing the baby seat in your vehicle To secure the baby seat using the 3-point belt of your vehicle proceed as follows: Place the baby seat rearward-facing on the vehicle seat (baby is facing backwards). Tip! In certain cases it is possible that the baby seat does not rest securely or is inclined too steeply on the vehicle seat.

EST- 402 Car Seat Care instructions To retain the protective effect In an accident at a collision speed above10km/h the child seat could suffer damage which is not necessarily obvious. In this case. the child seat must be inspected by the manufacturer and if necessary replaced. Regularly check all important parts for damage.

EST- 402 Car Seat Care instructions Malfunctions of the harness buckle are mostly attributable to accumulations of dirt and dust. Malfunction The buckle tongues are ejected only slowly when the red release button is pressed. The buckle tongues will no longer lock home are ejected again.

EST- 402 Car Seat Care instructions Removing the harness buckle Open the harness buckle press the red release button. Loosen the harness straps. Tilt the baby seat backwards. Push T bar, with which the harness buckle is fixed to the seat shell, on its side u pwards through the belt slot. B)Cleaning the harness buckle Soak the buckle in warm water with dishwashing liquid for at least an hour.

Check for correct fitting by pulling firmly on the harness buckle. Removing the harness Unhook the shoulder straps as described above.

The car seat cover is removable and washable. In case of light staining,clean using a damp cloth or soapy water, The cover can be removed completely and hand washed up to 30℃.
