b. Connection of an electric catch, lock and of a gate motor
- An electric lock or strike may be connected to terminals 7 and 8 on the roadside panel.

It is essential that the electric latch or lock installed has a mechanical memory like all products
marketed by Extel. For the wiring diagram please consult the label on the back of the handset and the back of the
roadside panel.

d. Power supply connection
Connect it directly to the 1 and 2 terminals at the back of the handset. (Take care to observe proper polarity)
- A single power unit is sufficient when installing with multiple handsets.
- The power supply must be installed on the handset closest to the first intercom panel
e. Activation of the dual-family mode
See the wiring diagram (fig. 6)
- Remove the "JP3" jumper to activate dual-family mode (fig. 2b - 10)
- Remove jumper «JP2» on the back of the handset to set your handset as family 1 or 2. (fig.2a - 6)
It is essential to ensure that the poles are correctly matched when connecting the handset.
Note: there is no monitoring function. Only calls from the outdoor station enable outward communications.
Important :
Call duration: approximately 30 seconds (6 chimes)
Maximum communication time with outdoor station: approximately 90 seconds
Same family handset intercom time: 30 seconds maximum
