Possible causes for the Asus VivoBook 17 X705MA-BX022T powering on for 10 seconds and then shutting down include:
1. Incorrectly Inserted Power Adapter or Battery Pack – Ensure the power adapter and battery are properly connected. 2. Faulty Power Adapter – Check if the power adapter is functioning correctly and matches the required voltage and current ratings. 3. Hardware Issues – A malfunctioning component, such as RAM or motherboard, could cause the shutdown. 4. Overheating or Power Protection – If the system detects overheating or power irregularities, it may shut down automatically. 5. Memory Storage Problem – If there is an issue with the storage device, the system may fail to boot properly.
If the issue persists, contacting an ASUS service center is recommended.
