SUNSHADE # 30045

COMPACT TRACTORS WITH 2 POST R.O.P.S.
STRUCTURES
The SunShade is designed to fit all models of tractors having a one-piece continuous or
foldable ROPS, are between 30" and 40" wide, with a tubing section of 1 3/4" x 2" to 2" x
4 1/4" and an angle of no more than 20 degrees rearward to 10 degrees forward.

  • Page 4 Prepare the L bolts and welded coupler to make the clamps. Screw the leg of the L bolts with the most thread into the welded coupler. Turn both bolts in equally until the distance between the other legs match the width of the R.O.P.S. tube. R.O.P.S.
  • Page 5 Attach Brackets to R.O.P.S. The width of the R.O.P.S. will determine the bracket installation. For installation on most ROPS 30”-35” the square tube of the bracket should be toward the outside of the ROPS. ROPS Width 30” – 35” place square tube of bracket to the outside.
  • Page 6 Determine installation angle and attach Posts and Braces The following illustrations show the various ways that the Posts and Braces can be mounted, depending on the angle of the R.O.P.S. Note the position of the slotted tab on the Post and U clamp (arrows). Posts can be right or left depending on the required tab position.
  • Page 7 Brace adjustment For narrower ROPS the flattened tab on the Braces will need to be bent at a greater angle. Insert the tab into a vice and bend to obtain the proper angle. Install the Frame to Brackets Insert the Posts into Brackets. Hold the frame level and tighten all the frame bolts. Loosen the Bracket Clamps and adjust the Sunshade to the desired height.
  • Page 8 Install the vinyl cover Slip the front of the Vinyl Cover over the front of the frame. Pull the rear of the cover down over the rear bow one corner at a time. Fasten the hook and loop tabs around the tube. Push the center bow up to tighten the cover if needed.
