Problem

TROUBLE SHOOTING
Possible Cause
- Extension cord not connected to the plug
- Cord not connected to power source
- Collection bag is not installed
- Defective on/off switch
- Worn carbon brushes
- Defective motor
- Impeller cover still open
- Overheat protection activated
- Damaged power cord
- Internal loose connection
- Defective on/off switch
- Foreign object blocks impeller
- Collection bag is full
- Collection bag is dirty
- Selector lever in wrong position
- Unit clogged up or blocked by foreign object
- Selector lever in wrong position
- Speed controller in wrong position
Model BVM23014S
- Check extension cord is fully connected to tool
- Check extension cord is fully connected to a
live receptacle
- Check collection bag is installed.
- Contact customer service
- Close impeller cover and screw it down
properly
- Remove the blockage (see Maintenance)
- Wait until the motor cools down for about 15
minutes before further use.
- Check cord; where appropriate, replace
- Contact customer service

- Empty collection bag
- Clean collection bag
- Set selector lever to the vacuum symbol
