Our robot will work outside the pool but stops working when it’s put inside the pool .

The WaterTech Series robot may stop working when placed inside the pool due to the following reasons:

1. The pump motor is jammed by unfiltered debris. The robot should not be run without a filter bag, as debris can obstruct the impeller or internal components.
2. The batteries may be fully discharged.
3. The robot may be stuck upside-down.
4. It may need calibration if it drives in circles or over the same area repeatedly.
5. There could be a “Control Box” or “Pump Motor” issue.

Check for obstructions, ensure proper filter use, and verify battery charge.

Unit has stopped working and apparently has stopped charging. Both lights keep blinking while charging. When the unit is unplugged from the charger, all lights remain off even after pushing on/off button. No lights come on. Unit was working fine but stopped suddenly after having been placed into the pool for a minute or two. Unit is new and was working having cleared pool at least a dozen times over the last two weeks. Unit was purchased new on June 11th, 2025. Worked fine up until today- July 6th.
