RegiDamper™ Installation Instructions
The Arzel
RegiDamper™ is used where the branch ducts are inaccessible in finished ceilings or
®
in slabs, which prevent the use of the original Arzel
installed in the register boot just behind the register and is operated by a low pressure air and
vacuum pump (contained in the Arzel
Rated) tubing.
Remove all registers and fit damper assemblies into boots with tubing connection facing
into the duct opening (see fig. 1-a).
Once damper fit is verified, remove dampers from boot.
Cut an opening in the main trunk large enough to view the take-offs of the runs you are zoning
with RegiDampers. Locate the opening as close to the take-offs as possible. Tape the cut
edges of the opening with duct tape to prevent cutting yourself.
