Step 2 – Unpack Top Canby’s solid hardwood tops are heavy. We recommend that you have the help of a friend when handling them. Step 3 – Unpack & Position Table Legs Carefully unpack your Canby Trestle table legs. So as not to ding or scratch them please use care when removing them from the box. IMPORTANT ‐ Avoid using a knife to remove the bubble wrap and other packaging materials as there’s a greater risk of scratching the parts. As shown, place the legs at each end of the table top. Line up the pilot holes in the top with the mounting holes in the legs. If need be, the legs can be flexed open of closed a bit to get things to line IMPORTANT Slots facing to inside of table top. Insure that the slots on the bottom and at the center of each leg are facing the inside of the top.

Step 5 – Connect the Stretcher With one leg loosely attached, you can now connect a stretcher. Insert the threaded tab at one end of the stretcher into the slot in the leg. Using the supplied allen wrench thread one of the 3/8” long allen head screws through the bottom of the leg and into the tab. This screw can be tightened. Line up the holes in the mounting bracket at the other end of the stretcher with the matching pilot holes in the top. Install a 1” top‐mounting screw in each hole. Tighten the top‐mounting screws.

Step 7 – Flipping the Table Upright Fully assembled, Canby Trestle tables are heavy. In order to avoid damage to the table or injury to yourself, you must have two people to flip the table over. With one of you at each end, start by tilting the table onto one of it’s long sides. Grasping both a leg and the edge of the table top, carefully lift the table fully off the ground, flip it upright, and place it gently on the floor… Enjoy!
