  • Page 6 DETERMINING FRESH-AIR FLOW FOR HEATER LOCATION FRESH AIR Determining if You Have a Confined or Unconfined Space Use this worksheet to determine if you have a confined or unconfined space. COMBUSTION Space: Includes the room in which you will install heater plus any adjoining rooms with doorless passageways or ventilation grills between the rooms.

    CONNECTING NOTICE TO GAS A qualified service person must connect heater to gas supply. Follow all local codes. SUPPLY WARNING WARNING ICON G 001 Never connect heater to private (non-utility) gas wells. This gas is commonly known as well-head gas. Check gas line pressure before connecting heater to gas line.

A. This appliance has a pilot which must be lighted by hand. When lighting the pilot, follow these instructions exactly.

Have heater inspected yearly by a qualified service person.
