Installa on A ach the motor to the stern of the boat and ghten both moun ng bolts securely while care not to over- ghten. To adjust the angle of the motor a er a achment, hold the motor head with one hand and press the posi on at the top of the moun ng bracket with your other hand.

DEPTH ADJUSTMENT Hold the motor sha with one hand, lossen the depth adjustment screw and set the motor to the desired depth, then re ghten the adjus ng screw securely. SPEED CONTROL AND ADJUSTING ANGLE The motor featuring five forward and three reverse speeds. Turn the handle clockwise to move forward and an -clockwise to go backward.

Un ghten the knob and place the engine head in the required angle. Tighten the knob to secure its posi on. DETACHING THE PROPELLER Before doing anything with the propeller, ensure the cables to the ba ery are disconnected. Detaching the propeller is a simple ma er of unscrewing and removing the locknut using the special tool supplied.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS Before connec ng the motor’s cables to the ba ery terminals, ensure all switches are in the OFF posi on and stand clear of the propeller. Connect the red cable to the posi ve (+) terminal, and black cable to the nega ve (-) terminal, making sure the terminals are clean before doing this.
