4.2
Optional wheel assembly
4.2.1. The wheel assembly is supplied ready to fit.
4.2.2. Raise the unladden platform, as described in section 5.
4.2.3. Fit the wheel assembly into the brackets on the frame, as
shown in fig. 1.
4.2.4. Ensure the locking tab is in a horizontal position and secure
the wheel assembly using two elastic pins, 4 X 40.
5. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
5.1. Operating the platform
5.1.1. Before use, check that the lift is level on a suitable surface,
the wheel assembly (if fitted) is fully raised, and that the platform
is fully lowered.

WARNING! Ensure that there is adequate clearance between
the underside of the mini tractor and the point where the mobile

ramp and platform meet. Failure to do so may cause damage.
5.1.2. Position the mini tractor on the platform and apply the handbrake.
5.1.3. Raise the platform by pumping the foot pedal.
5.1.4. When fully raised, position the safety bar (17) between the arm (16) and the base (8) to prevent the platform from accidentally descending.
5.1.5. When work is complete, check under the platform to ensure there are no obstructions and that it is safe to lower the unit.
5.1.6. Remove the safety bar (17).
5.1.7. Press the release foot pedal to lower the platform.
5.2. Operating the wheel assembly

WARNING! The wheel assembly is designed for manouvering the lift unladden.
5.2.1. Raise the unladden platform and position the safety bar the prevent the platform from accidentally descending.

5.2.2. Press down on the wheel assembly foot pedal to raise the frame sufficiently to allow the locking tab to be positioned vertically.
5.2.3. Release the foot pedal.
5.2.4. Position the foot pump such that it can move safely and freely with the lift.
5.2.5. The platform can now be manouvered.

WARNING! Ensure there are no obstructions underneath the frame before disengaging the wheel assembly.
5.2.6. To disengage the wheel assembly, press down on the wheel assembly foot pedal to raise the frame sufficiently to allow the locking tab

to be positioned horizontally.
5.2.7. Release the foot pedal.
6. MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT: Only fully qualified personnel should attempt maintenance or repair.
% DO NOT use the lift if it is believed to have been subjected to abnormal shock or load. Inspect and take appropriate action.
6.1.
When the lift is not in use, the platform must be in the lowest position to minimise hydraulic ram and piston corrosion.
6.2.
Keep the lift clean and wipe off any oil or grease. Lubricate all moving parts with acid-free oil.
6.3.
Before each use, ensure components are not damaged, malfunctioning or missing. If any suspect item is found remove the lift from
service and take the necessary action to remedy the problem.
6.4.
Periodically check the pump piston and piston rod for signs of corrosion. Clean exposed areas with a clean oiled cloth.

WARNING! Only a good quality hydraulic oil, such as SEALEY HYDRAULIC JACK OIL must be used, DO NOT use brake fluid.

De-commissioning: If and when the lift become completely unserviceable, draw off the oil into an approved container and dispose of the lift and
the oil according to local regulations.
