    The GPS-Positions are in a KML-File which Google Earth can execute. The CarBeacon saves a maximum of the last ten positions with a separation time of one minute in the KML-File. After each transmission of the KML-File the recording starts afresh.

    In the Tracking-Mode “Track4Free” (TM 20:1) the GPS-Position will be sent per HTTP-GET to the Locating-Portal “www.Track4Free.com”.     Configure Parameters per SMS CAUTION: When using a SMS for this purpose, please be aware that it can take up to 24 hours until the SMS reaches the CarBeacon. The transmission time can vary considerably from Provider to Provider. Frequent use of cross network SMS (i.e. from Orange to Vodafone) require longer transmission times than network internal SMS.

    CAUTION: The rubber seal must be correctly seated in the appropriate recess. A SIM card chosen for use in the CarBeacon can be prepared in any mobile telephone or PC card-reader. During this process the PIN on the SIM card must be set to ”1357”.
  • Page 40 Standard PIN as detailed below is entered into the SIM card prior to initial use. The PIN is the access code to the SIM card. The CarBeacon expects PIN code 1357 on the PIN card in use. This PIN can be entered onto the SIM card with the help of a mobile telephone or a PC SIM card reader.
  • Page 41 - www.antrax.de Access Code vs. PIN The access code for entering the CarBeacon via voice call is "1357". This means that as long as this access code is not expressly changed (via the telephone book entry “PWD” on the SIM card) the standard PIN will be used.

After a “Voice Call” and entry of a valid access code, the user will hear an alarm tone for the first 5 seconds of the call when a credit of less than 1 Euro remains on the card.

    - www.antrax.de Flashing Codes The CarBeacon signals its current condition via the two colour LED's (green/red) with various flashing codes. When one of the flashing codes is displayed for a longer period, there is a high probability that one of several errors has occured.
