Important Safety Information Throughout this manual, you will find the following safety words and symbols that signify important safety issues with regards to operating or maintaining the equipment. In addition to the warnings and cautions in this manual, use the following guidelines for safe operation of the unit. - Page 4 Microwave Oven Never, use paper, plastic, or other combustible materials that are not intended for use in a microwave oven. When cooking with microwave safe paper, plastic, or other combustible materials, follow manufacturer's recommendations on product use. Do not use paper towels, which contain nylon or other synthetic fibres. Heated synthetics could melt and cause paper to ignite.

FIRST YEAR Amana Appliances will replace any part, f.o.b. Amana, Iowa, U.S.A., which proves to be defective due to workmanship or materials. -

Display and Features Single Pad Programming This feature enables each numbered pad to be programmed for a specific use, such as cooking a certain number of potatoes or defrosting and then cooking vegetables or other frozen foods. This feature has already been pre- programmed at the factory. -

Microwave Oven Mid-Cycle Cooking Pause The cooking pause is a feature unique to this series of microwaves. This pause enables extra ingredients to be added, cooking progress to be checked, or for food to sit a necessary amount of time between cooking time or power settings. To utilize Cooking Pause, follow programming sequences for programmable pads. -

The cooking factor is the amount of extra time added as a percentage of the original time.
