All the sudden the light won't turn off after using the light/fan for several years with no issues. I changed the batteries and when I try to tun the light off it starts flashing, but still won't turn off.

If the light on the Pan-World Control Technologies 7RC04-CF100001 remote does not turn off after changing the batteries, possible issues could include:
1. The light ON/OFF button is stuck or malfunctioning. 2. The remote is sending unintended signals due to improper battery installation. 3. A short circuit or internal damage occurred during battery replacement. 4. Interference or a fault in the receiver unit of the ceiling fan.
Check the button function, ensure correct battery placement, and remove the batteries if not in use for a long time to avoid damage.

If the Pan-World Control Technologies 7RC04-CF100001 does not turn on after changing the batteries, possible reasons include:
1. Incorrect Battery Installation – Ensure the two 1.5V batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity. 2. Dead or Weak Batteries – Use new, fully charged batteries. 3. Remote Control Damage – If batteries were left inside for a long period, corrosion could have damaged the remote. 4. Interference Issues – The device operates on specific frequencies (2410 MHz, 2420 MHz, 2425 MHz). Nearby electronic devices might cause interference. 5. Compliance Issues – Unauthorized modifications may have voided the authority to operate the device. 6. Storage Conditions – If the remote was stored improperly or too close to the human body, it might not function correctly.
Check these factors to troubleshoot the issue.
