If your Defy DTL 149 washing machine does not switch on, possible causes include:

1. Power Supply Issues – Ensure the machine is plugged in and the power outlet is working.
2. Fuse or Circuit Breaker – Check if there is a blown fuse or a tripped circuit breaker in your home’s electrical system.
3. Internal Fuse – The machine may have an internal fuse. If so, locate and replace it if necessary.
4. On/Off Button Fault – If the button is unresponsive, it may be faulty and require repair or replacement.
5. Electrical Faults – Internal wiring or components may be damaged, requiring professional inspection.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, seek professional repair assistance.

Regarding the DTL 149: Water inlet pressure is good. Filter at the end of the inlet hose is clean. Still the water inflow is very slow and causes the machine to stop. Seems like the holes are clogged where the water flows into the machine after exiting the inlet hose. How does one clean those holes.
