9. Remove bulkhead (K) from cylinder.

10. Remove piston/driver subassembly (H) from cylinder.
11. Replace piston o-ring (L-#398157-00) on driver blade/piston
assembly.
12. Replace check valve O-ring (M-#398158) on cylinder.
13. Replace internal (#398167-00, Type 2) and external (#398160-00,
Type 1) o-rings on bulkhead (K).
14. Apply grease provided to all o-rings prior to assembly.
15. Ensure the inside of the tool is free from dirt and debris.
16. Place piston/driver subassembly (H) back into cylinder (I).
17. Place bumper (J) onto bottom of cylinder (I).

18. Place bumper plate (N) through the piston/driver subassembly. (H)
and onto the bottom of the Bumper (J).
19. NOTE: The tip (P) of the piston/driver subassembly (H) has an
angled surface on the back side of the blade. Make sure the
piston/driver subassembly's (H) angled surface is facing towards
the back of the tool. Slide the piston/driver subsssembly (H) down
the driver blade channel into the nosepiece.
20. Replace cylinder seal (Q- #395065-00) with new one provided,
and snap onto cylinder.
21. Replace cylinder Hold-down (G) onto top of bulkhead (K).
22. Assemble top bumper (D) into top cap (A)(make sure it snaps into
place).

23. Assemble head valve spring (C) into top bumper (D).
24. Push head valve (B) into top cap (A) until it cannot come out of top
cap.
25. Remove old cap gasket. Make sure surface is clean.
26. Be sure to replace top cap gasket (O-#395061-00) and properly
place between the top cap and frame before fastening the Top
Cap.
27. Replace top cap (A) and fasten 4 screws with a 4 mm allen wrench.
28. Tighten screws snugly to prevent leaks.
29. Ensure trigger and contact trip are working smoothly.
30. Set pressure on compressor or air line at 80 psi.

31. Pointing tool in safe direction, connect tool to air supply. Tool must
not leak air.
32. Check for proper operation of tool. If tool continues to leak air or if
problems persist, take Nailer to a D
33. If warning labels are missing or damaged, request replacements
from a D

1. Débrancher l'outil du circuit d'alimentation en air avant d'effectuer
les opérations d'entretien ou de réparation.
2. Retirer tous les clous de l'outil.
3. Enlever les quatre vis du capuchon supérieur (A) au moyen de la
clé Allen de 4 mm fournie dans le coffret.

4. Tirer sur le clapet de tête (B), le ressort du clapet de tête (C) et la
butée supérieure (D) pour les dégager du capuchon supérieur par
le centre de l'ouverture du clapet de tête.
