Oil temperatures can affect both power supply and tool performance. For ambient operating temperatures between 0-32°F, RGC recommends a warm-up period relative to outside temperatures to insure proper performance levels. Oil becomes more viscous or thick as the ambient temperature lowers, which slows down the system. It is necessary to pre-heat the hydraulic oil in the power supply before use by proceeding as follows: 1.
