Operation

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or explosion, do not operate this Pump
Accessory in areas with flammable gases, flammable vapors such as lighter
fluid, cleaners, oil-base paints, gasoline, alcohol or explosive dusts such as
coal, magnesium, grain or gun powder in the air. Do not use this pump as a
sprayer. To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not expose to rain. Store
Pump Accessory indoors. Do not submerse pump or power cord.
WARNING: Always wear safety gog-
gles complying with ANSI Z87.1 (or
in Canada, CSA Z94.3) before start-
ing operation. Safety Goggles are
available at many local retail stores.
The operation of any utility vac can
result in foreign objects being blown
into the eyes, which can result in
severe eye damage.
CAUTION: To reduce risk of hearing
damage, wear ear protectors when
using the pump or vac for extended
hours or when using it in a noisy
area.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
Pump Accessory has a built-in GFCI
(Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt). plug with a
ground connection. The plug must be used
on a properly-grounded outlet.
If the plug does not fit into the outlet, con-
tact a qualified electrician to install the
proper outlet. Do not modify the plug in
any way.

After you plug the power cord into the out-
let, you should always test the GFCI.
Pressing the yellow "TEST" button should
cause the red "RESET" button to pop up. If
this happens, your GFCI is functioning
properly. Press the red "RESET" button to
reset your Pump Accessory. If the red
"RESET" button does NOT pop up, your
unit is not functioning properly and you
should contact an Independent Service
Center to have your Pump Accessory
serviced.
Once you have plugged the power cord
into the outlet and the tested the GFCI,
you are ready to run your pump.
NOTE: The Pump Accessory should not
be operated on the same circuit as the
Wet/Dry Vac.
