DR Distribution guarantees that any part*, which we find to be defective in materials
or workmanship will be repaired or replaced free of charge for the parts and any
service labour for a period of 24 months for residential use and 12 months for
commercial use from the date of purchase, as the original purchaser of a Pureheat
product, provided that all service be pre authorised by DR Distribution.
*The heater warranty does not cover service calls related to over- temperature safety

devices activating and shutting the heater down.
*This Warranty does not cover failure due to accidental damage, misuse or

negligence, nor does it cover any consequential damages.

For the purpose of this warranty, it is a condition that the "wired in" models must be
installed by a registered electrical contractor and must be wired in accordance with
our wiring instructions. Similarly, this warranty becomes void if the heater is serviced,
repaired or altered by anyone other than D.R. Distribution or its authorised Service
Agents or if parts, other than approved parts, have been used.
Record the date of purchase below and retain this card, together with your purchase
invoice for your own future reference.
The benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all other rights and remedies
which the consumer has under the Trade Practices Act and other legislation.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT:
1. Wiring must be carried out by an authorized electrician.
2.
Means for disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed wiring in accordance with
the wiring rules.
3.
The heater must not be mounted immediately in front or below any electrical socket
outlet.
4. This heater is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without
supervision.
5.
Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
6. If the supply cord of plug-in models is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its Service Agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
7.
CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut
out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such
as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
SURFACED MOUNTED MODELS: AL16S, AL24S, AL35S, AL45S, AL16PWS, AL24PWS, AL35PWS,
AL45PWS
1. Remove the front grill panel from the heater by removing the two screws located at
the bottom of the heater sides and lifting it away and up from the heater base.
2. Allowance should be made for supply cable entry on the back, top right hand corner
of unit.
3. Position the heater on the wall so that the bottom of the heater is between 200 to 300
mm above the floor covering, the side of the heater is at least 200 mm to a wall on the
side and the top of the heater is at least 200 mm away from any shelf or building structure
above.
4. Attach the unit to the wall via the four mounting holes in back of unit.
5. Bring the wiring into the unit and make the necessary connections. The requirements
of the Power Authority must be met.
6. Check that the heater is properly connected, and that the fan runs correctly and
smoothly on all heat settings including thermostat operation, and in the fan only
position.
7. Ensure that the supplied pilot light clip is clipped into the front panel (small rectangular
hole), and replace the front panel in reverse procedure to removing, ensuring pilot
light is clipped into lens and free of obstruction. Re-attach 2 fixing screws.
