Insta l l t he Battery and Connect the Mouse Receiver
1. Remove the battery compartment cover, t hen insert t he battery. Fo l l o w the diagr am inside t he batt ery
compartment, then r eplace t he cover .
2 . For a PS/2 connection, turn off t he computer.
Connect th e r eceiv e r c a b l e t o t he PS/2 mouse port
on t he computer , t hen turn on y o u r s y s t em.
3 . For a USB-port connection, remove the PS/2
adapter (Window s
OS 8.6 or higher required). Connect th e r eceiv e r
c a b l e t o t he USB port . ( F or Windows , y ou may b e
prompted t o i n s e rt t he Windows s o f twa r e CD int o t he computer s CD-R OM drive . ) F o l l o w the on-scr een inst r u c t i o n s .
