Instructions for battery removal by an independent qualified professional
1. Unscrew the screw, underneath the handle at the back of the unit, that is holding the battery
plate in position.
2. Remove the battery plate.
3. Remove the battery from the compartment.
4. Dispose of the battery responsibly and in accordance with local authority guidelines.
Guidelines for handling used batteries:
• Keep batteries out of reach of children.
• Insulate the terminals with adhesive tape or similar.
• DO NOT disassemble the battery.
• DO NOT heat or expose to flame.
• DO NOT expose to direct sunlight.
• WARNING! Battery acid leakage can cause personal injury and cause damage to the product
and surrounding property.
• If battery leakage occurs, thoroughly wash any affected skin, making sure to keep battery acid
away from eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Immediately wash any clothing or other surface that
comes in contact with leaked battery acid.
• If a chemical burn occurs or if irritation persists, seek medical attention.
