2. SPECIFICATIONS & OPERATION
2.1.

2.2.
Model CD2000 operating instructions. Non turbo.
2.2.1. Turn the thermostat to a high (+) setting.
2.2.2. Chose the required heat output by selecting switch ( I = 1000W medium heat output. or II = 2000W high heat output).
The selected switch or switches will light up.
2.2.3. Once the required room temperature has been achieved, turn the thermostat slowly down in the direction of the (-) setting until the heat
output switch light goes out.
The unit output temperature is now set and will automatically start as the room temperature drops below the thermostat setting.
F WARNING! DO NOT Touch the top of the heater when in use as it becomes hot.
2.2.4. To switch the unit off, turn the heat selecting switches off and unplug from the mains.
Allow the unit to cool before handling and storage.
2.3.
Model CD2502 operating instructions. Turbo model
The CD2502 is equipped with a motorised fan to boost heater output. For General operation follow steps 2.2.1 to 4. above
with the following exception:
2.3.1. To switch on the fan push the button marked with the fan symbol.
2.3.2. To switch the unit off, turn the fan and heat selecting switches off and unplug from the mains.
2.3.3. Cool air output
To produce a cool air flow, turn the thermostat up and the fan switch only to on.
2.4.
Thermostat safety feature.
Both models are fitted with a safety thermostat which will automatically turn the heater off should the air inlet or outlet become
blocked. Should this happen, switch heater off and unplug the heater from the mains power supply.

WARNING! in such a case the heater will be very hot. Allow the unit to completely cool before handling the heater and then check
the air inlet and outlet for obstructions and before attempting to switch the unit back on.

3. MAINTENANCE
Before attempting any maintenance ensure the unit is unplugged from the mains power supply and that it is cool.
3.1.
Clean the unit with a soft dry cloth. DO NOT use abrasives or solvents.
3.2.
Periodically check the air inlet and outlet to ensure the air way is clear.
