CONTROL BOX • Mount control box in a suitable position in the operators area so that the toggle switches are accessible . • Route diverter valve cable along parent machine to the control box in the operator’s area . Secure as necessary, ensure cable is free and clear of blades .
OFFSET MOUNT - Storage Stands SAFETY FIRST The Hedge Trimmer should NEVER be operated with the storage stands fitted . When the offset mount is not in use it can be placed on storage stands for ease of storage and access . Retract the ram as far as possible to position the hedge trimmer over the mount .
HEDGE TRIMMER EXTENSION A 1 metre extension can be fitted to either end of the Hedge Trimmer . Attaching the optional extension provides a combined 2 .5m cutting length . When using the extension the Hedge Trimmer MUST be fitted to the parent machine in the centre mount position .
