Each pipe connector has a pair of raised ridges which
locate within a recess in the crimping jaws. One ridge for
each side of the connector.
Prepare the pipe by removing burrs and reaming the
edge with the tool provided. Place the connector onto the
pipe and place the jaws over the ridge on the pipe side of
the connector.
Holding everything in position, press the ON button to
activate the unit.

Fitting
Once the connector has been crimped and the motor cut
out the jaws will open, remove the unit from the pipe
and proceed to the next connector.
If there is any danger to personnel during the pressing
process, press the emergency stop button and release
the ON switch.
EQUIPMENT CARE
Never push the equipment beyond its design
limits. If it will not do what you want with reasonable ease
and speed, assume you have the wrong tool for the job.
Contact your local HSS Hire Shop for advice. Keep the
equipment clean - you will find this less of a chore if you
clean it regularly, rather than wait until the end of the hire
period.
When not in use, store the equipment somewhere clean,
dry and safe from thieves.
FINISHING OFF
Disconnect the battery and place with the charger in the
carry case.
Remove the fitted jaw and place the de-burrer, jaw and
unit in the carry case ready for return, to your local HSS
Hire Shop.
