WARNING:
Do not allow familiarity with products to make you care-
less. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is
sufficient to inflict serious injury.
WARNING:
Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to
comply with ANSI Z87.1, along with hearing protection.
Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into
your eyes resulting in possible serious injury.
WARNING:
Always remove battery pack from your tool when you
are assembling parts, making adjustments, or cleaning.
Removing battery pack will prevent accidental starting
that could cause serious personal injury.
APPLICATIONS
You may use this product for the purposes listed below:
 Clearing hard surfaces such as driveways and walkways
 Keeping decks and driveways free from leaves and pine
needles
INSTALLING/REMOVING BATTERY PACK
See Figures 3 - 4.
To install battery pack:
 Insert the battery pack into the product as shown.
 Make sure the latches on each side of the battery pack
snap into place and the battery pack is secured before
beginning operation.
 Check the battery fuel gauge while tool is turned on to
determine the amount of charge remaining in the battery
pack.
To remove battery pack:
 Depress the latches on each side of the battery pack.
 Remove the battery pack.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the battery pack from
the tool to recharge.
 With the battery installed, place the tool in the wall-
mounted charger by aligning the raised ribs on the tool
housing with the grooves in the charger as shown.
 Slide the tool down until it is fully seated on the charger.

OPERATION

WARNING:
If charging the battery pack while it is still in the tool, make
sure the tool is inaccessible to children while charging.
Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury.
STARTING/STOPPING THE BLOWER
See Figure 5.
 To start the blower, place the power switch in the ON ( l )
position.
 To stop the blower, place the power switch in the OFF
( O ) position.
OPERATING THE BLOWER
See Figure 6.
Follow these tips when using the blower :
 To keep from scattering debris, blow around the outer
edges of a debris pile. Never blow directly into the center
of a pile.
 To reduce sound levels, limit the number of pieces of
equipment used at any one time.
 Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing.
In dusty conditions, slightly dampen surfaces when water
is available.
 Conserve water by using power blowers instead of hoses for
many lawn and garden applications, including areas such
as gutters, screens, patios, grills, porches, and gardens.
 Watch out for children, pets, open windows, or freshly
washed cars, and blow debris safely away.
 After using blowers or other equipment, CLEAN UP!
Dispose of debris properly.
