Thank you for purchasing the finest "instant" water-heating appliance available . . . EVERHOT. Your new EVERHOT,
whether single lever (hot only) or dual lever (hot/ambient), is constructed of the finest materials available, including
stainless steel and a special lead-free bronze alloy. Your new EVERHOT requires little in the way of maintenance;
after all, it is meant for your convenience! With your busy schedule, you don't need something else to worry about,
right? But we thought a few helpful suggestions couldn't hurt, so here it goes:
WATER DISPENSED BY EVERHOT HEATING TANK IS VERY HOT
1.
can produce a severe burn in a short period of time. As a precaution, children should not be
allowed to operate this appliance.
2. For intermittent flow, as in filling a cup, hold lever down to dispense water; flow will stop when
lever is released.
3. For continuous flow, as in filling a pot or large container, flip lever up or open valve. Water will
flow until lever is flipped back down or valve is closed.
4. While the EVERHOT heating tank capacity is 64 ounces, you can expect to get 40-48 ounces of
hot water before temperature starts to drop; a few minutes of reheating time will be required to
produce more heated water.
5. Water temperature is adjustable. The front of the heating tank has a black knob with an indicator
mark.
"Off" position is fully counter-clockwise, with indicator at approximately "7 o'clock".
"Maximum" position is fully clockwise, with indicator at approximately "5 o'clock".
claimed maximum temperature is up to 190º F., the water temperature at "maximum" may be
hotter; however, water must not approach boiling. The boiling point of water is approximately 212º
F. at sea level, but decreases as elevation increases. If your EVERHOT shows signs of boiling,
such as sputtering and steaming out the spout tip, THE BLACK CONTROL KNOB MUST BE
TURNED BACK SLIGHTLY. If water temperature remains too high, damage to heating tank
components may occur.
6. Heating tank is open to outside atmosphere and as a result, water will continuously evaporate
through faucet spout. If this appliance will be unused for more that 5 consecutive days, heating
tank should be unplugged or control knob turned to "Off" position to prevent excessive evaporation
of water and possible damage to tank.
7. Cleaning: Usually a damp soft cloth is all that is required to clean your EVERHOT faucet. A mild
non-abrasive cleaner, such as Windex® or Simple Green® may also be used.
deposits can be removed with a product designed for that purpose, such as Lime-Away®. DO
NOT use any abrasive cleaners or cleansers on your EVERHOT faucet as damage to finish or
valve mechanisms may result.
8. The EVERHOT spout is not designed to swivel. Some faucets have a set screw that holds the
spout in place. A special wrench has been included with your EVERHOT so the set screw can be
loosened, spout position adjusted if needed, and the screw retightened. Screw should be snug,
but not over-tightened as damage to spout may result.
