Replacing Batt eries
Remove 4 fi xing screws and lift of cover. Remove
batt eries and replace with either 4 x AA Alkaline
batt eries or Nickel Metal Hydride (rechargeable).Ensure
correct polarity when refi tti ng. Refi t cover and screws.

The TX8000 is 6Km range Time Domain Refl ectometer housed in
a rugged over moulded case being water proof to IP67 and drop
resistant, designed for outside use, but suffi ciently small and light
weight for widespread use. Using a 3.5-inch QCGA colour display
informati on is clearly displayed; an illuminated key pad makes the
TX8000 ideal for use in poorly lit areas.
Using 11 range scales with a fi rst range of 7 meters near end
faults are clearly visible. Using the scan hold facility faults may be
retained on screen for closer examinati on or when in scan mode
intermitt ent faults may be easily identi fi ed. The user variable gain
control allows small events on the waveform to be magnifi ed for
clearer identi fi cati on. With dual cursors each cursor giving its
length measurement and a diff erenti al distance between cursors
the length of a fault may be identi fi ed. To assist in the identi fi ca-
ti on of faults a number of known fault types may be super im-
posed over the displayed fault for easier identi fi cati on
