You must move the carrier arm out
of the way to open the tailgate glass.
Here's how to move the arm:
1. Squeeze the release handle
to free the carrier arm.
2. Swing the carrier arm away from the tailgate. You may need
to give it a
slight tug.

To latch the carrier arm, swing it toward the tailgate. The latch has
two
catches, so push on the carrier arm
to
make sure
it
has locked into the
second one. It shouldn't move.
Leaving Your
Vehicle
If you are leaving the vehicle, take your keys, open your
door and set the
locks from the inside. Then get
out and close the door.
If your vehicle has this option,
you
can lock and unlock your doors,
or unlock
your tailgate glass
from
up to 30 feet (9 m) away using the key chain
transmitter supplied with your vehicle.
