The refraction stand, combi unit or table leg must be IEC 60601-1 compliant. If you are fi tting or have fi tted your Slit Lamp to a medical or Keeler table leg / base ensure it is situated on a fi rm and level fl oor. -

To assess the electromagnetic environment due to fixed RF transmitters, an electromagnetic site survey should be considered. If the measured field strength in the location in which the Keeler Slit Lamp is used exceeds the applicable RF compliance level above, the Keeler Slit Lamp should be observed to verify normal operation. If abnormal performance is observed, additional measures may be necessary, such as re-orientating or relocating the Keeler Slit Lamp. -
