Health and safety at work act 1974 Under section 6 of the above Act, it is the duty of the manufacturers and suppliers of the products for use at work to ensure, so far it is reasonably practicable, that such products are safe without risk to health when properly used and to make available to users of such products adequate information about their safe and proper operation.

Warnings Do not attempt to use this equipment before the following instructions are read and fully understood. Do not operate this equipment if it has missing, damaged, insecure guards or electrical components. Ensure equipment is sited on firm level ground. Locate the fan away from any possible unauthorised interference.

The 230volt version requires a 13Amp supply and is fitted with a 13Amp 1363a plug. EXTENSION LEADS. If an extension lead is used, it must be of the correct size and length to avoid voltage drop. Cables must be fully uncoiled when in use, coiled or incorrectly installed extension leads can overheat and cause a fire hazard.

2) Lock the castors once the operating position has been decided. 3) Before plugging the into a voltage supply ensure that it is switched off. 4) Select the speed required from the slider control (where fitted) and switch the unit on. Please note, not all these fans have the speed control facility, some have a simple ON/OFF switch and will run a maximum output at all times.
