Page 2 Health and safety at work act 1974 Under section 6 of the above Act, it is the duty of the manufacturers and suppliers of the products for use at work to ensure, so far it is reasonably practicable, that such products are safe without risk to health when properly used and to make available to users of such products adequate information about their safe and proper operation.

Page 4 The 230volt version requires a 13Amp supply and is fitted with a 13Amp 1363a plug. EXTENSION LEADS. If an extension lead is used, it must be of the correct size and length to avoid voltage drop. Cables must be fully uncoiled when in use, coiled or incorrectly installed extension leads can overheat and cause a fire hazard.
