Intended uses

To allow or help increase independence when using
the toilet, particularly by compensating for impaired
movement

Instructions for installation

Attaching the front bracket

See Figure A .
1. Place the Taunton Toilet Seat upside down on a flat
surface and place the hole in the L-shaped bracket
(1) over the hole in the front of the seat.
2. Place the washer (2), serrated side down,
over the hole.
3. Use the screw (3) to attach the bracket to the seat.

Putting the seat in position

4. Raise the toilet seat that is attached to the toilet.
The Taunton Raised Toilet Seat should be put onto
the toilet bowl.
5. Loosen the brackets and position them farther apart
than the size of the toilet bowl.

6. Place the seat on the toilet bowl with the single
bracket at the front. Push the front bracket flush
with the rim of the toilet bowl.
7. Remove the seat and tighten the front bracket.
8. Put the seat on the toilet and tighten the two rear
brackets until they are snug against the bowl.
9. A properly positioned Taunton Raised Toilet Seat is
shown in B.
10.Regular checks of the brackets should be made,
ensuring that the toilet seat is secure. Spare
brackets are available if required (AA212401).

Care and Cleaning

All parts can be cleaned with soap and hot water
(up to 90°C / 195°F) or a household disinfectant.

Cautions

• The toilet seat is not to be used to support more
than 152kg / 335lb / 24st.
• Do not hold onto the seat as a support when getting
on and off the seat.
• Be sure the toilet seat is securely in place before
putting weight on it.
