Disconnect the power supply cable before cleaning or maintenance
• Cleaning
Some household and furniture cleaning products may damage the float glass from which the L'ASTRA Table Lamp is made.
When cleaning the float glass of the L'ASTRA Table Lamp, we advise use of a damp cloth or leather only, with washing up liquid or
soft soap if necessary.
We advise you not to use powder detergents or detergents containing abrasives for cleaning the L'ASTRA Table Lamp, since they may
scratch the float glass. Warning: do not use alcohol or solvents
• Maintenance
The L'ASTRA Table Lamp requires regular care to keep it in peak condition and ensure safety. If the L'ASTRA Table Lamp or any
part of it is chipped or broken, contact the producer or the sales outlet where the product was purchased for the technical and
shape specifications of the L'ASTRA Table Lamp or the damaged part.
For maintenance purposes, the lamp holder, cable and feet should be inspected for wear.
• Disposal
The symbol on the appliance indicates that it cannot be disposed of as ordinary municipal waste.
The user's main obligations are as follows:
- WEEE must not be disposed of with ordinary household waste; separate collection is compulsory;
- WEEE may be disposed of by returning the electrical appliance to the retailer on purchase of a new one;
- otherwise, dispose of the appliance in accordance with the relevant legal requirements through a recycling station run by the
local authority and/or a company which specialises in the scrapping of industrial machinery and/or in waste disposal, and/or
through reuse, treatment and recycling centres, so that the plastics, metals and electrical components will be recycled and
disposed of in the proper manner;
- the electrical appliance does not contain hazardous substances with a potentially harmful effect on the environment and human
health;
- improper use of the electrical appliance or its parts does not have a potentially harmful effect on the environment and human
health;
- the penalties for illegal disposal of this category of waste are as defined by the relevant legislation and shall apply if the product
is disposed of in breach of the law: application of the administrative penalties imposed by article 50 and following articles of
Decree Law no. 22/1997.
