BATTERY BACKUP MODE
When loss of power is detected, the Gyre Interface Module will go into backup mode. In
this mode, the control input is ignored and the module runs the pump at a fixed low speed
resulting in a 35-hour run time with a fully charged battery.
The red LED will blink 2-5 times and repeat. The following table shows the relationship
between battery charge and blink pattern:

  • Page 2 Gyre Interface Module. Plug one PUMP POWER end of the included module Y cable into the side of the Gyre Interface Module and the opposite end with the ethernet connection into an available 0-10v port on your existing system controller.
  • Page 3 ATTENTION When rst connected, the IceCap Interface Module will run a calibration cycle for 10 seconds. During this time, the pump will run at 100% speed. The calibration cycle only runs the very rst time you connect the interface module to a pump.
