    DEVICE INSTALLATION GUIDELINES ● Install the device only indoors, in a covered environment. ● Install the device in a location with sufficient lighting ● Do not use the facial recognition feature under a strong light. ● Do not expose the device to the sun for a prolonged period of time. ●...

    MOUNTING THE DEVICE WALL-MOUNT INSTALLATION If you have purchased the wall-mounted version, the wall mount bracket would have come pre-installed onto the device. To mount on the wall, use the appropriate screws (4) and wall anchors (4) for the type of wall material you are mounting the device to (screws and wall anchors not provided).

    The AccessPoint FRX can also be used with visitor or guest mode, perfect for conducting temperature screening and automating entrypoint access in public places and high traffic areas such as hospitals, government buildings, tourist attractions and schools.
  • Page 11: About Temperature Calibration

    AccessPoint FRX's temperature measurements. TEMPERATURE CALIBRATION PROCEDURE To perform a Temperature Calibration, a calibration operator stands in front of the AccessPoint FRX and faces the camera. The device will then take their temperature and use that as the guideline for 'normal body temperature'.

    To do this, connect a mouse to the device and enter the Device Settings Menu > Temperature Calibration and click on 'Start Manual Calibration'. Then, follow the steps under 'Temperature Calibration Procedure'. CALIBRATION OPERATORS By default, only an Admin user (set in Andalink) can conduct the Interval and Manual Temperature Calibration.

    Records 20,000 test records can be stored along with the photo of the users. Click on to scroll or to search for a record. Click on a record to view details of the test record. Click on to print the test record (compatible printer must be connected) or click return to view test records.

    (c) Test Delay Enter the password 119119 ● Test success delay - ​ E nter the time delay (in seconds) required after a successful test before the start of the next facial recognition test. This interval time is especially important when the device is connected to an access gate system to allow enough time for the door to open and close after a test.

    Temperature Calibration The Temperature Calibration is required to evaluate and adjust the precision and accuracy of the AccessPoint FRX's temperature measurements. This can be done in two ways - with ambient temperature or with body temperature (requires calibration operator). Please read 'About Temperature Calibration' for more information.
