CR 1400 2.1 General safety instructions Familiarize yourself carefully with this manual and make sure that you have understood the in- structions regarding the mulcher and related information. Everyone using the Mulcher must follow the given instructions. If the mulcher is given temporari- ly to other user than the owner of the machine, or if it is rented, make sure that the user has read this manual and understood safe and proper use of the machine.

CR 1400 3.2 Operating principle The mulcher is hydraulically operated. The hydraulic motor in fitted directly on the rotor shaft. Power from the base machine is transferred hydraulically. There are blades on the rotating rotor to crush the material that is handled.
CR 1400 Coupling and uncoupling of the mulcher Coupling and uncoupling of the mulcher When coupling or uncoupling the mulcher form the base machine always make sure to eliminate the risk of getting crushed. Ensure that the mulcher is on solid, level ground and supported be- fore disconnecting it from the base machine.
CR 1400 Using the mulcher 5.1 Equipment 1. Counterblade The counterblade minimises the space between the frame and the rotor. The material being mulched is forced to go through the rotor and the counterblade. The counterblade improves the mulching performance.
