Description

The installation instructions provided below tell you how to connect the
Intercom Autodialer to the PARTNER-model phone at extension 10 or 11. For
information about programming and using the Interccom Autodialer, see
"Intercom Autodialers" in Chapter 1 and "Auto Dialing" in Chapter 5 of the
Programming and Use guide.
Before starting, be sure you have the necessary parts (one autodialer, one
adapter, one D8W line cord, one power cord, one power unit, and one button
labeling sheet.)
CAUTION:
Be sure that the power supply assembly is the correct one for your
country. Check the code on the power supply assembly box:

Canada
Other Countries
If any part is missing or the power supply assembly is incorrect, in the
continental U.S., call the AT&T hotline at 1 800 628-2888. Outside the
continental U.S., contact your AT&T Representative or local Authorized Dealer.

Installation

1.
Plug the adapter into the wall jack.
2.
Connect the D8W line cord:
a. Plug one end of the D8W line cord into the J1 jack on the adapter.
b. Plug the other end into the IN jack on the bottom of the autodialer.
3.
Connect the power cord and power unit:
Plug the blue-tinted connector (labeled D8AC) of the power cord into the

jack on the power unit.
Plug the other end (clear tinted) of the power cord into the J2 jack on the

adapter.
Plug the power unit into an electrical outlet.
c.
4.
Plug the phone's modular telephone cord into the OUT jack on the bottom of
the autodialer.
