  • Page 3: Opening The Carton

    When you open the carton, you will see the Caddy unit, which has the 4 main attachments stowed inside. The Caddy unit is on top of a plain brown carton. This carton contains 2 Extension Tubes and the Steam Unit, which has a recess in its underside where the three Mini Attachments are stored. The Hose and Handle and the Extension Cord are attached to the Steam Unit.

    It is recommended that a G.F.I (Ground Fault Interrupter) rated at 30mA is fitted into the mains supply socket for added protection against electric shock. Use only genuine Earlex replacement parts. Never direct steam towards equipment that contains electrical components.

    PREPARING YOUR STEAM DYNAMO PRO FOR USE Fitting the Steam Unit (1) to the Caddy (18) Slide the Steam Unit into the center of the Caddy until the yellow Steam Unit release latch (24) locks into place. To remove, press the Steam Unit release latch down and slide the Steam Unit backwards.

  • Page 10 Uses for your Floor Cleaner The Floor Cleaner can be used on many types of surfaces such as ceramic, marble, linoleum, stone, parquet etc. Be especially careful with parquet – older oak floors are very tough but on some newer floors steam may cause the blocks to swell.

    Wash at 194˚F for maximum longevity. Do not use bleach or fabric conditioner and use only one third of normal soap powder to avoid clogging the fibres. Spare Bonnets can be purchased from Earlex Inc or you can make your own using Terry towel type material.

    GETTING STARTED Before you use your Earlex Steam Dynamo Pro, make sure that you have read and followed all the safety instructions. Decide how you want to use the Steam Dynamo Pro as a hand held unit with the Steam Unit hung over your shoulder, with the Steam Unit fixed to the Caddy free to be pulled along on the floor, or set up as a Garment Steamer.
