The USB output module “EB1A” offers a floating, galvanically isolated output contact (normally open contact) for the DUETTO device, e.g. for use with a door opener. The configuration of the USB output module is carried out via the web interface.
Control Station Duetto Setup guide Setup guide DUETTO can be configured either as a SIP or / and Intercom station (depends on the DUETTO series version; see page 8). Before using DUETTO with all of its functions, there are several configuration steps, which have to be made.
Establish a connection between the computer and DUETTO via a hub or switch. The PC has to be in the same subnet as DUETTO. An appropriate IP address of that subnet range has to be allocated to the computer temporarily.

Control Station Duetto Setup guide Send the configuration to the Intercom Server The configuration of the IP stations has to be sent to the Intercom Server. It is possible to send either the configuration of all stations, only of modified stations or of all stations selected in the table to the Intercom Server.
Dynamic registration: Activate this checkbox to enable the dynamic registration. The field MAC address will be activated. MAC address: In this field, the MAC address of DUETTO can be entered. The MAC address will be configured automatically if the checkbox Dynamic registration is deactivated.

Add video connection of external IP camera A video stream of an external IP camera can be allocated to the DUETTO device in CCT 800 (in addition to the built-in video camera). This video stream can be shown e.g. permanently on the DUETTO display via a background element.
The main configuration of DUETTO has to be carried out via the integrated web interface. Depending on the respective functions to be enabled or used for DUETTO, some of the instructions might not be relevant and therefore can be skipped. In the following, you will find step-by-step instructions to configure DUETTO via the web interface.

Control Station Duetto Broadcast definition The DUETTO is able to send and receive multicast RTP audio streams. This section describes how to configure up to ten multicast RTP streams for receiving. The configured RTP streams are played on the internal speaker. Each of these RTP streams has a priority level between highest priority (1) and lowest priority (10).

The priority for codec negotiation can be defined by drag and drop. The priority of the audio codecs is listed in descending order. When initiating a SIP call, the DUETTO device requests to establish the conversation using the audio codec with the highest priority. If the other subscriber is able to inter- pret this audio codec, the conversation is established with this audio codec.

When DUETTO is connected to the Internet, the port number of the device is shown. Tell the port number to the technical support so they can establish a connection to your DUETTO. If a firewall is present, it might be necessary to open the ports “TCP 443” for outgoing connections.

Web interface – System Certificates In this section, a trusted identity can be set up for the DUETTO device in order to establish a secure HTTPS connection between a web browser and the web interface of the DUETTO device. The bct CA certificate, based on the X.509v3 standard (defined in RFC 5280), is a public key certificate that includes the digital identity that is used to verify the validity of certificates.

Import the bct CA certificate in the web browser through which the web interface will be accessed with a secure HTTPS connection. When accessing the web interface of the DUETTO device, a secure HTTPS connection is now set up between the web browser and the web interface without a prompt asking about the trustwor- thiness of the server certificate.
