  • Page 16 INSTALLATION GUIDE We’ve made the setting up of your Purple Ascent Adjustable Base as easy as possible so you can begin relaxing in less than 15 minutes! Do not attempt to set up the base by yourself. Always set up with the help of an additional, able-bodied person.

  • Page 22 KING INSTALLATION GUIDE Secure hinge with long bolt Insert a long bolt through the second short bolt hole in the middle of the hinge of the frame. long bolt Secure the end of the long bolt with a washer and a nut. Tighten the bolts with the box wrenches provided.

  • Page 26 REMOTE OVERVIEW  The HEAD arrows lift and lower the head section of the base.  The FOOT arrows lift and lower the foot section of the base. The ANTI-SNORE preset posi- tion* will elevate the head section slightly and may help reduce snoring.

    PAIRING REMOTE CONTROL The original remote that comes in the box is already paired to the adjustable base. No further action is required. In the event that the remote is not paired with the base, follow the steps below. Unplug the power cord from your pow- er outlet.

    CONNECTING STRAP (ONLY INCLUDED WITH TWIN XL) Connecting straps are secured to the base frame upon delivery. Legs are required for the installation of the connecting straps. The straps are used for holding two Twin XL bases together for a Split King.     SYNCING TWO BASES (OPTIONAL) A Sync Cord is included with the Twin XL size base. Not available on Queen, Full or Full-Long size bases. The Sync Cord connects the two control boxes to a single remote for the synchronization of two bases. This process is most commonly used for syncing two connected Twin XL bases.

    HEADBOARD BRACKET INSTALLATION GUIDE (OPTIONAL) Headboard brackets are not included. If interested in headboard brackets please visit purple.com to order or call Purple at 1-888-848-0248. A 9/16” (14 mm) & 1/2” (13 mm) socket and crescent wrench are necessary to complete installation.
  • Page 32 HEADBOARD BRACKET INSTALLATION GUIDE (OPTIONAL) Attach the plastic spacer and T-Bracket. Measure the distance between the mounting holes on the headboard and install the spacer and attachment plate to accommodate the headboard. To install the plastic spacer and at- tachment plate, you will need (2) long bolts and (2) nuts.

    BATTERY BACKUP STRAP For emergency use only, if the base is in an elevated position and the power goes out, you can use the battery backup strap to return the bed to a flat position. Batteries are not to be used for normal operation of the bed.
