CHARGING THE IPOD'S BATTERY
If you want to charge the iPod's battery, follow these steps:
1.- Plug the USB / Firewire cable into an available port in the
computer, the extreme connector, plug it into the base.
2.- The indicator LED in the base will light on.
3.- Place an iPod adapter into the base, in accord to your iPod
model.
4.- Place the iPod into the Dock connector.
5.- Now, the iPod will be synchronized with iTunes and the
message Do not disconnect displays in the screen. The charging
process begins.
6.- While the battery is charging, a battery icon displays in the
iPod's screen . When the battery is fully charged, the icon
will change to In this moment you can disconnect the iPod
from the base.

volume level and select previous or next songs.
7.- Turn the device off and release from the base after their use.
In this mode, the battery will be not charged. In this mode, the battery will be not charged.
